The World Economic Forum has announced the 2020 Cohort of Young Scientists, featuring 25 exceptional academics under the age of 40, in recognition of their contribution in various scientific disciplines, considering their research excellence, leadership potential and commitment to serving society.
And much to our excitement, one of these brilliant scientists is our colleague Dr. Joseph Costantine (ULFG2 alumnus, 2004, Elec. Engineer).
Dr Costantine, associate professor at AUB, had received his Master's degree also from AUB in Computer and Science Engineering in 2006 and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico in 2009. He is the recipient of many honors and awards, and has published over the past years numerous research papers and patents.
Dr Costantine's research in the field of electromagnetism resulted in the design of a new generation of wireless communication systems, biomedical sensors and wirelessly recharged devices through radio frequency energy harvesting.
